The Emmerich family moved to Great Neck in the early 1930's from New York City. Ted was born in 1955 and remains an active member of the Great Neck Community. Ted established his own contracting business in 1973. After 49 years, Ted's trucks are a familiar sight throughout the North Shore of Long Island.
